Alison Reynolds

Alison is an accomplished and highly versatile musician who specialises in piano/keyboard (classical and pop), saxophone (ska, soul and funk) tuition and performance, and music theory. She attained BA(Hons) in Music, plus an HDip and MA in Music Technology from the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. She is studying for a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (UK HEA Fellowship).
As a band member and session musician Alison has many years of experience in live performance on stage, television and radio. She has performed with Michael Bublé, Nile Rogers and Chic, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, Lisa Hannigan, Villagers, Mundy, Paul Noonan (Bell X1), and Cathy Davey, to name but a few. She has also performed on some of Ireland’s biggest stages, including The National Concert Hall, Vicar St, 3 Arena, Whelans, Electric Picnic and The Aviva Stadium.
Alison is a third generation saxophonist and has been surrounded by music from an early age resulting in a natural and enthusiastic approach to her teaching. She enjoys establishing a rapport with her individual students, encouraging their ambitions and developing their abilities in a fun and focused manner.
